Graduated in sound design from The National Film School of Denmark in 2001 and has been associated with Lucas Film’s sound studio Skywalker Sound in San Francisco in the late 90s. Claus founded his own company back in 1996 and became co-owner of Ministi Film in 2004.

Claus’ work can be heard in the Oscar-winning Polish film Ida and the Oscar-nominated film A Royal Affair. His work has been praised internationally and nationally with titles such as Ida, A Royal Affair, Birds of Passage, Ragnarok and The Blue Caftan. In recent years Claus has been working on international titles and has made film and television shows from The Czech Republic, Columbia, Mexico, Marocco, France, Spain, Sweden and Norway. 

In 2022 Claus joined forces and co-founded Sound by KLANG with the rest of the KLANG crew.
